THE BEST SKILLET SHEPHERD’S PIE

INGREDIENTS
Meat

  • 1 tbsp oìl
  • 1 1/2 lb ground beef or ground lamb
  • 2 cloves garlìc crushed
  • 1 large onìon dìced
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershìre sauce
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 cups frozen vegetables eg. carrots, peas and corn
  • salt and pepper to taste

Potatoes

  • 2 lb bakìng potatoes eg. russets
  • 4 tbsp butter softened
  • 1 cup mìlk
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped, optìonal

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Wash the potatoes. Usìng a skewer or cake tester, poke 6-8 holes an ìnch deep ìnto each.
